This cope in lampas is part of a set of vestments that also include two tunicles
of the same material with similar decorative elements. The yellow
background is chromatically beautifully matched with the refined floral
pattern formed of large red designs. The floral motif is composed of
branches of intertwining flowers and leaves that form large decorative
designs, repeated in a pattern. This piece of material in typical
Baroque taste is in fact particularly interesting as here we can
clearly note the naturalist style evolution that makes it difficult to
perceive the rhythmic pattern of the greatly enlarged decorative motifs.
